RGD Designathon Team Project

client: Civic Tech Moncton

This project was developed as part of the RGD Designathon, a collaborative challenge focused on creating a visual campaign for Hack4Change by Civic Tech Moncton.

Working in a five-person design team, we explored multiple visual directions to communicate the spirit of civic technology, community collaboration, and innovation.

The final campaign identity combined experimental visual concepts with a flexible graphic system that could be used across posters, digital media, and event promotion.

Role In The Team

My contribution focused on developing alternative identity elements that could extend the main logo system.

I proposed the abbreviated mark “H4C” as a flexible shorthand identity, which was later adopted as a secondary visual element in the final campaign materials.

I also contributed to the typography direction used in the final identity system.

Campaign Visuals

After the final logo direction was selected, the visual language was expanded into campaign materials for event promotion. My contributions included developing poster compositions, refining visual hierarchy, and selecting photographic imagery that reflects the character of the host city.

The final campaign visuals combine bold typography, geometric forms, and layered imagery to create a dynamic identity for the hackathon event.
